Financial and Strategic Advisory Assistant Manager

We are seeking an experienced Financial and Strategic Advisory Assistant Manager to join our growing financial accounting and advisory services team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead on delivering accountancy advisory projects for clients, including group reconstruction work, IFRS transition consultancy, and reporting on accounting considerations.
  • Act as a focal point of contact with clients, communicating problems and contentious issues to the assignment manager and/or partner.
  • Practice excellent client service, with significant client contact.
  • Liaise with other departments within the office, especially audit and corporate tax teams.
  • Ensure agreed deadlines are met and significant issues are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Coach more junior members of the team and participate in staff training and supervision.
  • Develop and maintain advanced technical knowledge and expertise through reading, courses, and challenging assignments.
  • Travel to client premises as required, with a significant proportion of work being office-based.
Requirements
  • Qualified accountant status (ACA or ACCA qualified or equivalent).
  • Positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn and progress.
  • Passion for financial reporting under IFRS and UK GAAP, with experience of applying principles in complex situations.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills.
  • Team player able to work closely at all levels.
  • Ability to deliver results autonomously.
  • Experience of working with multiple clients simultaneously.
  • Experience of supervision and coaching of junior staff.
  • High competency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
