As a Financial Accounting Advisory Manager, your responsibilities will encompass a variety of technical accounting tasks, including financial reporting, business consultancy, and group restructurings. This position entails overseeing the preparation of statutory accounts in accordance with diverse accounting standards. Additionally, you will have the chance to enhance your skills in areas such as business development and mentoring junior personnel. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and mentor junior team members in the preparation of financial statements that adhere to accounting standards.
  • Lead intricate accounting projects for clients, including IFRS transition initiatives and acquisition accounting.
  • Serve as a primary contact for clients, proactively identifying and addressing any challenges.
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of clients and projects, ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
  • Deliver outstanding client service and collaborate with other departments within the firm.
  • Guide junior staff and engage in training and supervision as necessary.
  • Willingness to travel to client locations as required.

Personal and Professional Attributes

  • ACA Qualified or equivalent
  • Proficient in UK GAAP and IFRS financial reporting
  • Prior experience in a professional practice or accounting advisory environment
  • Strong project management and organizational capabilities
  • Experience in direct client engagement
  • Experience in supervising junior personnel
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
