As a Financial Accounting Advisory Manager, your responsibilities will encompass a variety of technical accounting projects, including financial reporting, business consultancy, and organizational restructuring. This position requires overseeing the preparation of statutory financial statements in accordance with diverse accounting standards. You will also have the chance to enhance your skills in areas such as business development and mentoring junior team members. A robust understanding of UK GAAP and IFRS standards is crucial. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and mentor junior team members in the preparation of financial statements that adhere to accounting standards.
  • Lead intricate accounting initiatives for clients, including IFRS transition projects and acquisition accounting.
  • Serve as a primary contact for clients, proactively identifying and addressing any challenges.
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of clients and projects, ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
  • Deliver outstanding client service and collaborate with other departments within the firm.
  • Guide junior staff and engage in training and supervision as necessary.
  • Be prepared to travel to client locations as required.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

  • ACA Qualified or equivalent certification
  • Experience with UK GAAP and IFRS financial reporting
  • Prior experience in a professional services or accounting advisory environment
  • Strong project management and organizational capabilities
  • Experience in direct client engagement
  • Experience in supervising junior personnel
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
