We're looking for an exceptional Retail Shift Manager to join our team at Tesco. As a key part of our store operations, you'll be responsible for coordinating the store team to deliver an easy, fuss-free shopping experience for customers. You'll support your colleagues, ensuring they deliver daily priorities and take regular breaks. Opening and closing the store, and completing duty cover, you'll make sure all decisions made are right for everyone's safety. Your role will be to be the go-to person for colleagues in the absence of a manager for day-to-day queries, and ensure the store is always clean, tidy, and well-presented. By supporting managers to coordinate seasonal, community and charity events, you'll contribute to a great team atmosphere, that's inclusive of everyone. You'll provide great customer service, by listening to our customers and putting them first in everything you do. Keeping the team well-informed and up to speed on any communications, changes, or updates, you'll stay knowledgeable about store performance, and look for ways to improve and simplify operations.
