About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacist to join our team as a Community Care Specialist. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and providing expert advice to our customers.

Main Responsibilities
  • Delivering Pharmacy Strategy: You will be responsible for delivering our pharmacy strategy through providing expert care and advice to our customers.
  • Accountability and Ethics: You will be accountable for making legal and ethical decisions in the pharmacy, ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of care.
  • Building Pharmacy Capability: You will work closely with our store teams to build their pharmacy capability, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent patient care.
  • Continual Review and Improvement: You will conduct regular reviews to ensure that our customers and patients receive the best possible care, and that our pharmacy services are safe and effective.
  • Professional Pharmacy Services: You will deliver a range of professional pharmacy services, including dispensing medication and providing expert advice to our customers.
What We're Looking For

We are looking for a Pharmacist who is passionate about community pharmacy and providing the best care for our customers. You will need to have a professional, caring character and a true desire to help us change for the better.

  • Registration: You will need to be registered with the relevant pharmacy regulator (GPhC, PSNI, PSI).
  • Professional Expertise: You will need to demonstrate high levels of professional expertise and be widely respected by stakeholders, peers, patients, customers, and external local professionals.
  • Passion for Community Pharmacy: You will need to have a passion for community pharmacy and providing the best care for our customers.
  • Collaborative Approach: You will need to be collaborative with a team-centered approach.
  • Knowledge of Pharmacy Operations: You will need to have excellent knowledge of pharmacy operations and provisions of national and local services.
  • Communication Skills: You will need to be a great communicator, able to put people at ease and effectively meet the varied needs of our customers and patients.
