Job Description

As an Ambulance Care Assistant, you will be responsible for transporting patients to and from medical appointments and between healthcare facilities. You will work as part of a two-person crew or independently, driving a variety of vehicles and interacting with patients and their families. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and a commitment to patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport patients to and from medical appointments and between healthcare facilities
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure seamless patient transfers
  • Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Valid UK driving license with no more than three penalty points
  • Enhanced DBS check
  • Familiarity with local roads and transportation systems
