Job Title: Childcare Support Specialist

Job Summary:
Ideal for All is seeking a Childcare Support Specialist to provide support to a child with mobility needs. The successful applicant will work with the child for 4 hours per week during term time and 7 hours per week during school holidays. The role involves supporting the child with educational tasks, mobility aids, and daily activities.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide support with toileting and transfers
  • Prepare snacks for the child
  • Support the child with non-speaking communication devices

Requirements:
  • NVQ/Diploma in Child Care and Moving and Handling of People is desirable but not necessary
  • Previous experience of looking after children with mobility needs is an advantage

Working Hours:
4 hours per week during term time and 7 hours per week during school holidays. Approximately 15:30 – 17:30, but to be confirmed.
