About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Duty Manager to join our team at Farnworth Leisure Centre. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the facility, ensuring all activities are delivered to a high standard with safety as the top priority.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the leisure centre, including aquatics and customer service
  • Support the management team in building and maintaining positive relationships with onsite partners, guests, and neighbours
  • Deploy and supervise the operational team to ensure a positive and memorable experience for customers
  • Work face-to-face with customers, providing excellent customer service and resolving any issues that may arise
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to have prior experience in a similar position, preferably in the leisure industry. You will also need to be confident in leading a team by example and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

It is desirable, but not essential, to hold a National Pool Lifeguard certificate (NPLQ), Pool plant operators' certificate (where appropriate), and first aid at work certificate. Full training will be provided.
