Job Title: Mobile Vehicle Technician

Job Summary:
Rubber Duck Cars is seeking a skilled Mobile Vehicle Technician to join our team in the Grimsby area. As a Mobile Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for providing top-notch vehicle repair and maintenance services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage your schedule and have responsibility for your own revenue.
  • Travel to customers' premises and carry out routine servicing, light maintenance, and warranty/recall work.
  • Observe, recognize, and report on vehicle or component defects or symptoms of impending failure.
  • Examine vehicles completely and report orally or in writing upon the vehicle's condition, safety, and reliability and performance.
  • Carry out all work in a responsible and safe manner.
  • Attend mandatory manufacturer and in-house skill development.
  • Ensure all service and maintenance sheets, customer defect reports, manufacturer paperwork, and electronic documentation are fully completed and signed off.

Requirements:
  • A minimum Level 3 City and Guilds (or equivalent) in Vehicle Repair.
  • Experience in diagnostics and using computers.
  • A full, UK driving license.
  • A positive, right-first-time attitude.
  • A strong team player mentality.
  • The ability to work to a very high standard independently.
  • A minimum set of basic tools are required.
  • Good communication skills, with customers and internal staff alike.
  • A willingness to learn and develop.
