Job Title: Mobile Vehicle Technician

Location: Grimsby

Salary: £35,000 + bonus + van

Job Type: Full-time, permanent role

Working Hours: 4 days a week

Shifts: Week 1 – Monday to Thursday – 8.00am-6.00pm, Week 2 – Tuesday to Friday – 8.00am-6.00pm

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Vehicle Technician to join our team at Pybus Recruitment Ltd. As a Mobile Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for travelling to customers' premises and carrying out routine servicing, light maintenance, and warranty/recall work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing your schedule and having responsibility for your own revenue.
  • Travelling to customers' premises and carrying out routine servicing, light maintenance, and warranty/recall work.
  • Observing, recognising, and reporting on vehicle or component defects or symptoms of impending failure.
  • Examining vehicles completely and reporting orally or in writing upon the vehicle's condition, safety, and reliability and performance.
  • Carrying out all work in a responsible and safe manner.
  • Attending mandatory manufacturer and in-house skill development.
  • Ensuring all service and maintenance sheets, customer defect reports, manufacturer paperwork, and electronic documentation are fully completed and signed off.

Requirements:

  • A Minimum Level 3 City and Guilds (or equivalent) in Vehicle Repair.
  • Experience in diagnostics and using computers.
  • A full, UK driving licence.
  • A positive, right-first-time attitude.
  • A strong team player mentality.
  • The ability to work to a very high standard independently.
  • A minimum set of basic tools are required.
  • Good communication skills, with customers and internal staff alike.
  • A willingness to learn and develop.
