Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mobile Vehicle Technician to join our team in Grimsby. As a Mobile Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for providing top-notch vehicle repair and maintenance services to our customers. You will work independently, managing your schedule and having responsibility for your own revenue.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out routine servicing, light maintenance, and warranty/recall work at customers' premises.
  • Examine vehicles completely and report orally or in writing upon the vehicle's condition, safety, and reliability.
  • Observe, recognise, and report on vehicle or component defects or symptoms of impending failure.
  • Attend mandatory manufacturer and in-house skill development.
  • Ensure all service and maintenance sheets, customer defect reports, manufacturer paperwork, and electronic documentation are fully completed and signed off.
Requirements:
  • A minimum Level 3 City and Guilds (or equivalent) in Vehicle Repair.
  • Experience in diagnostics and using computers.
  • A full, UK driving licence.
  • A positive, right-first-time attitude.
  • A strong team player mentality.
  • The ability to work to a very high standard independently.
  • Minimum set of basic tools required.
  • Good communication skills, with customers and internal staff alike.
  • A willingness to learn and develop.
