Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day multi-trade activities, drive productivity through effective planning and allocation of tasks and manage the performance of both in-house and subcontracted trades.
  • Effectively plan and allocate resources to ensure workload is completed on time and to a high standard. Monitor progress, adjust schedules as needed, and optimise productivity.
  • Ensure all work is conducted safely, adhering to Health & Safety protocols, conduct and review risk assessments and lead toolbox talks to ensure safety awareness among the workforce.
  • Conduct regular quality audits and inspections to ensure that work meets high standards. Ensure the timely delivery of works in line with contract requirements.
  • Maintain good communication and build relationships with clients and customers. Address any concerns to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Maintain documented records of all processes, ensuring compliance with company procedures. Oversee In-House systems to provide regular reports on performance metrics, including progress on Health & Safety, quality, and productivity.

Requirements

  • Strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of multi-trade activities and a good grasp of health and safety standards.
  • SSSTS or SMSTS preferable.
  • Have experience of overseeing a team of operatives within planned maintenance and reactive emergency works (Local Authority/Social Housing sector including occupied homes and voids a distinct advantage).
