Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to join our IT team at Barbour. As a key member of our technology team, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing a well-architected, flexible, scalable, and secure applications landscape that supports our global operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and Maintain Systems Architecture: Develop and maintain a systems architecture model that provides a flexible, robust, and scalable solutions blueprint for our global operations.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work with business stakeholders, software vendors, systems integrators, and IT teams to design and present solution options that meet business requirements.
  • Review and Approve Solutions: Review proposed solutions from system analysts to ensure they meet business requirements and conform to defined IT standards and requirements.
  • Provide Leadership and Expertise: Provide leadership and expertise in supporting systems failures, major incidents, system integration testing, and complex support and integration issues impacting our business operations.
  • Represent Barbour: Represent Barbour in external projects with customers and suppliers.

Requirements:

  • Technical Expertise: Infor Cloudsuite technologies, Microsoft technologies, SQL Server development, integration technologies, database architecture, business process mapping, and Agile project delivery methodology.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to build strong relationships across business functions.
  • Leadership and Influence: Ability to build relationships and influence at a senior management level.
  • Business Analysis: Expert business analysis skills to facilitate successful discovery workshops across multiple operational and back-office business functions.
