About the Role


The successful candidate will have a qualification in Assistant Practitioner or Nurse Associate and NHS experience in a hospital or community setting. You will be responsible for assisting registered clinicians with comprehensive and holistic assessments, as well as providing exceptional patient care and support.



Key Responsibilities


As a Clinical Assistant Practitioner, your key responsibilities will include:



  • Providing clinical support to registered clinicians, including wound management and leg ulcer treatment
  • Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing individualized care plans
  • Working closely with patients, carers, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Participating in continuous professional development and staying up-to-date with best practices in leg ulcer management


Requirements


To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:



  • A qualification in Assistant Practitioner or Nurse Associate
  • NHS experience in a hospital or community setting
  • Clinical skills relevant to District Nursing
  • Evidence of post-qualification training


Benefits


We offer a competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of basic salary (£4,551 - £5,735 per annum pro rata). Additionally, we provide regular clinical and managerial supervision, opportunities for in-service training and development, agile working devices to support community-based working, and a comprehensive induction program for new starters.
