ESG Strategy and Sustainability Manager

About the Role:

This exciting opportunity has arisen for an ESG Strategy and Sustainability Manager to join our team at Orion Engineering Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and driving our company's Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategy and programs to reduce and manage our ESG risks and environmental impacts.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in ESG strategy development, implementation, and reporting. They will possess a strong understanding of sustainability principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement our company's ESG strategy and programs
  2. Provide oversight, direction, and reporting related to our business's environmental impacts
  3. Assess greenhouse gas emissions intensity management, including forecasting and reduction strategies
  4. Engage with stakeholders, including the Board, ESG sub-committee, and ELT, on regulatory changes, business processes, and compliance

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental science, sustainability, or a related field
  • Significant experience in ESG strategy development and implementation
  • Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills

Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience
