ESG Analyst Role Summary

The ESG Analyst will play a pivotal role in advancing Borr Drilling's ESG data management and compliance with structured and externally assured ESG disclosures. This position involves collaboration with internal functions to collect, analyze, and report on ESG-related data, and prepare comprehensive ESG reports for stakeholders, including investors, regulatory bodies, and senior management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with internal departments to collect, analyze, and report on ESG-related data ensuring timely delivery of information.
  • Optimize the collection and management of company related ESG data ensuring auditability of data in line with CSRD assurance requirements.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of ESG data and metrics to assess the company’s performance and benchmark against peers.
  • Monitor and interpret ESG trends, regulations, and best practices relevant to the offshore drilling industry to maintain compliance with evolving regulatory requirements.
  • Support engagement with external stakeholders, including ESG rating agencies, customers, and industry groups, to provide Borr Drilling’s ESG performance related data.
  • Coordinate input and support delivery of yearly sustainability report aligned with Borr Drilling’s values and vision and in line with the sustainability strategy. Ensure consistency in reporting of sustainability data for the business, including data verifications by 3rd party verifiers as required.
  • Identify improvement opportunities in the organization when it comes to ESG related data management and support changes required.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, economics, engineering, sustainability, data sciences, or related fields or proven experience with ESG related data management and analytics.
  • Good knowledge of international sustainability frameworks such as the GRI, IFRS/CSRD, UN SDG Goals and OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises.
  • Experience using analytical tools such as Power BI with capabilities of developing bespoke dashboard reports.
  • Highly analytical and capable of managing large volumes of data in a structured manner.
  • Excellent numeracy and literacy skills for analyzing and interpreting quantitative and qualitative data.

Estimated salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year based on location and experience.
