About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Engagement Specialist to join our team at Balfour Beatty Communities. As an Engagement Specialist, you will play a key role in enhancing our employee engagement and fostering a positive workplace culture to increase retention and make Balfour Beatty a great place to work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and present New Hiring Manager training on best practices for onboarding new employees.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve employee engagement and retention.
  • Build an employee engagement committee to brainstorm best practices and ideas with support of site teams and Operations leaders.
  • Focus on high turnover sites and provide ideas and participate in team building activities.
  • Partner with Marketing and Communications as well as Training and Development to support employee engagement initiatives.
  • Analyze and create action plans with HRBPs from 30-day employee survey.
  • Support needs of HR for Employee Engagement Survey.
Requirements
  • Associates or bachelor's degree in pursuit of Human Resources or Business is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in Human Resources role (i.e., recruiting, onboarding or generalist).
  • Understanding HR practices and procedures.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Process oriented.
  • Ability to travel 50% of time.
  • Possession of a valid state issued driver's license and safe driving record are required.
