Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineering Manager to join our team at BAE Systems. As a key member of our manufacturing engineering team, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of Manufacturing Engineers who take charge of production change management.
You will have the opportunity to drive new ways of working within the team, encouraging new ways of thinking while assessing the impact of Engineering Change. You will also be responsible for analysing large volumes of data, presenting findings to internal stakeholders, and assessing the potential impact and providing suggestions for mitigations to protect the programme schedule adherence.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and develop a team of Manufacturing Engineers
- Drive new ways of working within the team
- Analyse complex data and present findings to internal stakeholders
- Assess the potential impact of Engineering Change and provide suggestions for mitigations
We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in manufacturing engineering, preferably with a degree to master's level. You should have previous experience in working / leading in a change environment on an in-build programme, as well as experience working in a complex, highly regulated engineering environment such as defence, nuclear, aerospace or similar.
You should also have experience with stakeholder management and possess the ability to professionally influence others. Additionally, you should be able to analyse complex data and present high-quality management information to senior stakeholders.
