Senior Manufacturing Engineering Manager
Location:Barrow-In-Furness
Salary:Negotiable, depending on experience + Executive car allowance + bonus
Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineering Manager to join our team at BAE Systems. As a key member of our Manufacturing Engineering team, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of Manufacturing Engineers who are responsible for production change management.
You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our business by driving new ways of working within the team, encouraging innovation and finding solutions to complex engineering challenges.
As a Senior Manufacturing Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for analysing complex data, presenting findings to internal stakeholders and assessing the potential impact of engineering changes on our production programme.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and develop a team of Manufacturing Engineers responsible for production change management
- Drive new ways of working within the team, encouraging innovation and finding solutions to complex engineering challenges
- Analyse complex data, present findings to internal stakeholders and assess the potential impact of engineering changes on our production programme
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual with a strong background in manufacturing engineering and leadership. You will have a degree in engineering to master's level and significant experience in working in a change environment on an in-build programme.
You will also have experience working in a complex, highly regulated engineering environment such as defence, nuclear, aerospace or similar and possess excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
Additionally, you will have the ability to analyse complex data and present high-quality management information to senior stakeholders.
