Job Title: Recruitment Administrator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Recruitment Administrator to join our team at Smart Environmental Support Solutions. As a Recruitment Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting the recruitment process across our clients' waste management sites in Hartlepool.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate all administrative aspects of the recruitment process, including posting job advertisements, scheduling interviews, and processing onboarding paperwork.
  • Assist with sourcing candidates through job boards, social media, and other recruitment channels, maintaining an active pool of available workers.
  • Track and manage incoming applications, ensuring all candidate information is accurately recorded and maintained.
  • Arrange interviews, liaise with candidates and hiring managers, and ensure all necessary arrangements are in place.
  • Serve as a point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing updates and answering queries.
  • Maintain and update the recruitment database, ensuring all candidate records are up to date.
  • Ensure all recruitment activities comply with company policies and relevant legislation, including right to work checking and verification.
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of experience in recruitment administration or a similar role.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) or HR databases.
  • Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of recruitment processes and best practices, particularly in high-volume environments.
  • Previous administration experience essential.
  • Holding a valid and clean driving license with own car.
