Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our client's senior management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring financial excellence and executing due diligence for potential acquisitions. They will provide financial leadership, develop and execute the business's financial strategy, and offer accurate financial projections to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide skilled financial leadership and support the CEO and management team in developing and delivering the business plan
  • Lead the finance and operations department and play a key role in professionalising the business by implementing controls, processes, and procedures to support growth
  • Develop and execute the business's financial strategy and provide accurate financial projections to support strategic decision-making
  • Execute due diligence for potential acquisitions and ensure financial excellence
  • Identify, analyse, and negotiate opportunities to drive the continued growth of the business

Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/ACMA), preferably chartered
  • Experience as a CFO in a PE-backed business with a strong track record in a buy and build environment
  • Proven track record of implementing and improving accounting systems, processes, and management information and financial reporting
  • Experience of buy and build/M&A with a thorough understanding of financial due diligence for acquisitions, and potential risks and opportunities
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to operate at pace and drive change
