Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Essex, working on a portfolio of social housing refurbishment projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in building services and experience working with main contractors.

The ideal candidate will have a degree or other technical qualification and excellent communication and presentation skills. They will also have knowledge of supply chain management and a proven track record of delivering contracts on time and within budget.

The salary for this role is up to £60K + package, offering career progression and the opportunity to work with a modern and forward-thinking business.

Main Responsibilities
  • Oversee the entire life cycle of social housing refurbishment projects, from planning to completion
  • Work closely with project managers and site engineers to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and identify potential issues
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and customers to ensure satisfaction with service delivery
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to ensure continuous improvement
