Maintenance Controller Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Controller to join our team at Work Lyf Group Ltd. This role is responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of technical and customer service, with a focus on vehicle cost authorizations and downtime.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the dedicated point of contact for all maintenance, refurbishment, and accident repairs.
  • Provide technical challenge to all costs for vehicle repairs using established rulesets.
  • Allocate costs to correct cost centers and codes.
  • Develop strong relationships with stakeholders to resolve challenges for clients and drivers within agreed SLAs.
  • Collaborate with third-party suppliers to ensure the most cost-effective route for all repairs.
  • Update systems to create a maintenance history and work orders.
  • Perform trend analysis relating to vehicle maintenance.
  • Provide vehicle off-road reports and ensure all vehicles are back on the road in a timely manner with minimal additional cost.
  • Expedite the chasing of VOR parts with dealers and manufacturers.
  • Liaise with manufacturers' customer service teams for warranty and parts backorders.
  • Review maintenance history to ensure warranty claims are made.
