About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team at a Primary School in Barking and Dagenham. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting children with special educational needs to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to students with SEN, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs), ensuring a tailored approach to each student's needs.
  • Contribute to creating an inclusive classroom environment, fostering a sense of belonging and community among students.
  • Monitor and record student progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and parents to ensure seamless communication.
  • Assist with classroom management and behavior support, maintaining a safe and respectful learning environment.

Requirements
  • Experience working with children with SEN is highly desirable, but not essential.
