Project Manager - Mechanical Installation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at Cityscape Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of mechanical installation projects across various sectors, including commercial and healthcare.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience managing mechanical installation projects, with a strong background in project management principles, methodologies, and tools. You will be responsible for ensuring that projects meet programme, budget, and quality standards, as well as maintaining quality control and managing subcontractors effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of projects from inception to practical completion, ensuring timely delivery and effective cost management.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards.
  • Manage project budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections to achieve financial targets.
  • Coordinate and manage project teams, including engineers, technicians, and other support staff.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with projects, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the mechanical installation sector.
  • HNC or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience working on large-scale projects valued at £5m and above is desirable.
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of project financial accountability.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
