As the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial operations of our businesses, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. You will play a key role in developing and maintaining key financial processes & controls, whilst providing financial insights to support the leadership team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing and maintaining all financial processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, bank, fixed assets, inventory and general ledger, implementing financial controls as required to ensure group compliance.
- Preparing and delivering accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Implementing and monitoring stock control processes, working with site leaders to provide granular real-time analysis of stock, whilst striving to improve profitability.
- Preparing and contributing to the annual budgeting process and developing rolling forecasts to support strategic planning.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant tax regulations, including UK & EU VAT, TSS regulations and corporation tax filings.
