Job Summary
This permanent opportunity involves providing full secretarial support to our Personal Injury team, assisting in the coordination of activities and objectives. A background in law is not essential; we seek candidates with a positive attitude, effective communication skills, and a willingness to contribute to the wider team's success.
Responsibilities
- Reporting and Administration: Prepare and send reports to a high standard using Bighand for audio typing.
- Departmental Coordination: Utilize the DPS system for all matters and administer existing jobs.
- Support Services: Liaise with fee earners, prioritizing their administration tasks, maintaining filing systems, and scanning documents towards paperless systems.
- Communication Skills: Develop PC skills as necessary, record phone calls, inquiries, and requests, and handle them accordingly.
Candidate Attributes
- Administration Expertise: Exemplary administration skills are required.
- Audio Typing Experience: Previous experience with audio typing is essential.
- Proactivity and Time Management: Proactive individuals with effective time management skills are preferred.
- Interpersonal Skills: Friendly and communicative individuals with excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills are required.
Benefits
- Salary: A very competitive salary (£35,000 - £40,000 per annum) negotiable depending on experience.
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week.
