Event Operations Manager
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Event Operations Manager to join our exceptional conference and banqueting events team at De Vere Tortworth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our busy conferences and events department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the meticulous setup and execution of events, from event spaces to impeccable service.
- Lead by example, fostering a culture of warmth and appreciation, building genuine relationships with team members and empowering them to take pride in their work.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, including chefs, housekeeping, and maintenance teams.
- Collaborate with the events team to plan and execute events, ensuring seamless execution and exceeding client expectations.
- Monitor and control event budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance with company standards and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement processes to improve event operations, increasing efficiency and reducing costs.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as part of an events operation team.
- Passion for events and commitment to delivering memorable experiences for clients.
- Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring every event runs smoothly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building strong relationships with team members and stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, effectively prioritizing tasks to meet operational requirements.
