We are seeking a skilled Conference and Events Coordinator to join our busy events planning team at De Vere Tortworth Court in Wotton under Edge.
As a Conference and Events Coordinator, you will be responsible for converting enquiries into bookings, showcasing our venue through showrounds, and helping our clients plan every detail of their event.
You will work closely with our operational team to ensure seamless event execution, effectively communicating client requirements and providing exceptional customer service.
In return, the role offers a competitive salary of £26,130 per annum, plus excellent benefits including a sales incentive scheme, free meals, and an annual complimentary stay with dinner at a De Vere Hotel.
Key responsibilities include:
- Converting enquiries into bookings and managing the event planning process
- Providing exceptional customer service and communication to clients and internal stakeholders
- Working closely with the operational team to ensure seamless event execution
- Managing event logistics, including venue setup, catering, and audiovisual requirements
- Coordinating with suppliers and vendors to ensure high-quality services
Requirements:
- Previous event planning or coordination experience or a relevant qualification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Confidence using IT software, with familiarity with Opera software beneficial
