SEN Teacher Lead

About the Position:This SEN position involves teaching a class of around 8 students, delivering engaging and differentiated lessons based on a broad and balanced curriculum. The key objective is to help each student reach their full potential across all areas of learning.
- Deliver lessons in accordance with Department for Education (DfE) guidelines and school policies.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the classroom.
- Support the professional development of Teaching Assistants and Higher-Level Teaching Assistants.
The successful candidate will collaborate with the Head Teacher and leadership team to ensure the successful delivery of the school's vision and objectives. They will promote the school's ethos and educational vision to encourage effective teaching, successful learning, and the holistic development of students.
The role involves monitoring and evaluating the quality of teaching and learning, ensuring high standards and setting targets for improvement. The SEN Teacher will work collaboratively with staff, parents, carers, and external agencies to support the academic, social, emotional, and cultural well-being of students and their families.
