Job Summary
  1. The Power, Utilities, and Renewables sectors are covered by our team.
  2. We offer senior secured limited recourse financings, industry sector acquisition financing, portfolio financing, structured asset financing, subordinated debt, and equity, as well as advisory services.
  3. The EMEA Power team is structured with a range of MDs, directors, VPs, associates, and analysts, all reporting to the head of the Power EMEA team.
  4. Deal teams, led by directors or assistant directors, handle all transactions.
  5. Our team forms part of the global EIG business line, responsible for implementing the EIG strategy in the EMEA regions.
  6. Our strategy focuses on providing structured finance solutions for clients and core prospects, as well as for approved niche markets.
Responsibilities
  1. Teams, led by a designated team leader, typically the VP, undertake new transactions.
  2. Responsibilities include origination, analysis, negotiation, internal approval, documentation, and closing of new transactions.
  3. Financial analysis, financial modeling, and support for junior modelers are key responsibilities.
  4. Team members are responsible for analyzing project contracts, term sheets, and documentation.
  5. Coordinating financial modeling aspects for project financings with juniors and creating financial models are also key responsibilities.
  6. Marketing efforts, sectorial research, and other commercial or administrative duties are also required.
  7. Client-facing work may be involved in all responsibilities related to transactions.
  8. Close contact points with other departments to maximize cross-selling activities are also required.
Legal and Regulatory Responsibilities

Compliance with all applicable legal, regulatory, and internal Compliance requirements is essential, including the London Compliance manual and Compliance policies and procedures.

Academic Qualification / Speciality: Educated to a degree level or equivalent (MBA desirable)

Experience
  1. Familiarity with Project Finance.
  2. Experience of risk analysis and cash flow modeling.
  3. FCA exam CP8.
