In this role, you will not only provide direct assistance to individuals, some of whom may have intricate needs, but you will also be responsible for:

  • Planning, coordinating, and overseeing service delivery to ensure high-quality support.
  • Supporting, supervising, and managing team members who provide assistance to these individuals.

We are looking for motivated, confident, and enthusiastic practitioners in social care who can:

  • Commit to empowering individuals, helping them to utilize their strengths, achieve their aspirations, and maintain control over their lives.
  • Demonstrate creativity and flexibility in daily operations to offer effective leadership and support to their team, ensuring efficient prioritization and delegation.
  • Collaborate with Community Development Workers and others to leverage community resources and enhance independence.
  • Dedicate themselves to ongoing learning and professional development.

This position may require evening and weekend shifts, including sleepover or waking night support, as well as providing assistance to team members outside of standard working hours.
