Autism Education Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Autism in a Special Primary School.
The RoleIn this position, you will provide group support and assist children both in the classroom and during specialist intervention sessions as required. Your key responsibilities include:
- Assisting pupils with high and low functioning Autism.
- Utilizing visual aids to structure sessions, including visual timetables and now/next boards.
- Employing calm, clear communication and confident behaviour management strategies.
This Special Needs Primary School is committed to fostering a creative, caring, and innovative learning environment that encourages creativity and curiosity.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you must have experience supporting children with Autism and possess excellent behaviour management skills.
Please note that this is an ongoing contract position available soon.
The estimated salary for this role is £28,500 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
