Heating Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Heating Engineer to join our team at REED Specialist Recruitment. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional to work in a fast-paced environment, providing high-quality services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out gas and oil servicing to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Respond to maintenance requests as needed, communicating effectively with management and the Quantity Surveyor.
  • Itemize and execute work in customers' dwellings and premises, upholding Data Protection Policies and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Travel across Northern Ireland and Ireland as required for work, performing additional duties as assigned by Management to ensure efficient business operations.
  • Adhere to all health & safety regulations and company policies, reporting any accidents or health & safety issues appropriately.
Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing or equivalent qualification.
  • Eligibility for OFTEC and inclusion on the Gas Safe Register.
  • Evidence of completed gas courses such as CCN1, CEN1, CKR1, MET1, or others.
  • Up-to-date Gas qualifications and certification.
  • Valid CSR Card or formal Health and Safety Training.
  • Full UK Driving License.
  • Experience in the construction or plumbing and heating industry.
