Assistant Front Office Manager Job Description

At Hilton Hotels, we're looking for a skilled and experienced Assistant Front Office Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Front Office department, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our guests receive exceptional service from check-in to check-out.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Front Office Manager in overseeing the entire Front Office operation, maintaining high standards, and evaluating guest satisfaction.
  • Maximize room occupancy at best rates, promote hotel services and facilities, and ensure regular and VIP guests are recognized.
  • Monitor the appearance, standards, and performance of the Front Office Team Members, with a focus on training and teamwork.
  • Ensure Team Members have current knowledge of hotel products, services, pricing, and policies, as well as knowledge of the local area.
  • Conduct monthly communication meetings and produce minutes in the absence of the Front Office Manager.
  • Assist with staff performance issues, recruiting, managing, training, and developing the Front Office team.
Requirements:
  • Previous supervisory experience in Front Office within the hotel/leisure/retail industry.
  • High level of IT proficiency, commercial awareness, and sales capabilities.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with a commitment to delivering a high level of customer service.
  • Ability to work under pressure, with flexibility to respond to a variety of work situations.
  • Excellent grooming standards and ability to work on your own and as part of a team.
