We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Neonatal Nurse Specialist to join our team at University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Trust. As a Bank Qualified Nurse in Neonatal Care, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our neonatal units.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert care to neonatal patients, including those requiring intensive, high dependency, and special care.
- Assume a lead clinical role, making clinical decisions and managing the care of neonatal conditions.
- Develop and implement care plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for patients.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures.
- Registered Children's Nurse, Registered Nurse, or Registered Midwife qualification.
- Qualification in Specialty, such as Neonatal Nursing.
- Teaching and assessing qualification.
- Recent experience at senior staff nurse level within neonatal nursing.
- Evidence of clinical competence in neonatal nursing skills.
- Evidence of ability to assume a lead clinical role.
- Understanding of the setting and monitoring of standards.
- Evidence of teaching and developing staff.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Motivated and innovative.
- Good listener and adaptable to changing needs.
- Ability to travel as required.
- Approachable and professional demeanor.
