About the Role

University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled Neonatal QIS Nurse to join our team. As a Neonatal QIS Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to newborns and their families in our Neonatal Unit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert care to newborns and their families in our Neonatal Unit
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective care strategies
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients and families

Requirements

  • Registered Children's Nurse, Registered Nurse, or Registered Midwife qualification
  • Qualification in Specialty
  • Teaching and assessing qualification
  • Recent experience at senior staff nurse level within neonatal nursing
  • Evidence of clinical competence in neonatal nursing skills
  • Evidence of ability to assume a lead clinical role
  • Understanding of the setting and monitoring of standards
  • Evidence of teaching and developing staff
