Job Description

The FP&A Analyst - HYBRID role involves:

  • Continuously monitoring financial results against budget to analyze performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Developing and implementing recommendations for future corporate planning based on financial analysis and ensuring their execution.

Main responsibilities include financial planning, controlling, and analysis. Additionally, the Corporate department is responsible for the Legal and internal control environment, and the following responsibilities will also fall within the scope of the role:

  • Coordinating and reviewing departmental planning across the UK and making recommendations to the Corporate Manager to ensure plans are appropriate and aligned at a corporate level.
  • Supporting the company with the coordination of contractual matters, including administration and legal checking.
  • Assisting with projects assigned by top management.
Requirements

A successful FP&A Analyst - HYBRID should possess:

  • A professional, flexible, proactive, and confident individual who can thrive in a demanding environment.
  • Experience within an accounting and finance function, specifically in FP&A.
  • Strong IT, budget control, and report writing skills.
  • SAP/BW/Analysis for Office knowledge is desirable for data analysis and controlling.
  • Knowledge and understanding of standard MS software packages.
  • Power BI.

Desirable qualifications include:

  • A degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
  • A CIMA qualification background can be beneficial, but is not required.
  • Proven experience in strategic planning within the retail industry.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting.
