Job Description

The Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist - HYBRID role involves:

  • Continuously monitor financial results (versus budget) to analyze performance and make recommendations for future corporate planning.
  • Ensure financial analysis and planning are executed effectively.

Main responsibilities are related to Financial Planning, controlling, and analysis. However, the Corporate department is also responsible for the Legal and internal control environment. Therefore, the following responsibilities will also fall in scope of the role as Corporate Planner:

  • Coordinate and review departmental planning across the UK and make recommendations to the Corporate Manager to ensure plans are appropriate and joined up at a corporate level.
  • Support the company with the coordination of contractual matters - both administration and legal checking.
  • Any project as assigned by top management.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist - HYBRID should have:

  • Professional, flexible, proactive, and confident individual who will be able to work in a demanding environment.
  • Experience within an accounting and finance function (FP&A).
  • IT, budget control, and report writing skills.
  • SAP / BW / Analysis for Office knowledge desirable for data analysis and controlling.
  • Knowledge and understanding of standard MS software packages.
  • Power BI.

Desirable:

  • A degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
  • A CIMA qualification background can also be useful, but is not required.
  • Proven experience in strategic planning within the retail industry.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting.
