About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at CrossReach. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Service Manager with the day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring that a safe, effective, and efficient care service is consistently delivered to meet the needs of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Service Manager in leading the care team and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care services.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring that they are tailored to the individual needs of our residents.
  • Contribute to the recruitment, training, and development of care staff, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent care.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that the care service is integrated with other services and that residents receive a seamless and comprehensive service.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of care services, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
Requirements
  • SVQ Level 3 in Social Services or Health Care (or equivalent)
  • Experience at a senior care level, preferably in a residential care setting
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and other stakeholders
  • Ability to work flexibly and respond to changing circumstances, prioritizing the needs of residents and staff
