Deputy Payroll Manager Opportunity
Barchester Healthcare is seeking a skilled Deputy Payroll Manager to join our team in Inverness. As a key member of our payroll department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing and payment of over 18,000 Barchester Healthcare employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Process payroll for a large volume of employees, adhering to statutory and company accounting requirements.
- Provide support and guidance to the payroll team and deputise for the Payroll Manager when necessary.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with management, operational, and support staff.
- Understand and implement company policies and government regulations affecting payroll procedures.
- Process RTI Returns and the reconciliation of PAYE, P11d expenses and benefits, and payroll software upgrades.
- Produce reports on a daily, monthly, and ad hoc basis.
- Support year-end processing, as directed by the Payroll Manager.
