Carrier Relationship Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Carrier Relationship Manager to join our team at GB001 Marsh Ltd. As a key member of our Relationship Management and Global Claims team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients and partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be the first point of contact for brokers and senior executives within the Ceded Re departments of our clients.
- Advocate and represent the interests of our clients with their business partners.
- Provide insightful management information by partnering with MI teams to design and provide regular reporting to all appropriate stakeholders.
- Explore business development opportunities with brokers.
- Assist with managing operational business risk.
- Use business acumen to ensure that colleagues are always ahead of trends in business placement.
- Ensure that skillsets are continually reviewed and enhanced.
- Build and maintain value-added partnerships with strategic markets to improve performance cycle times.
- Demonstrate a pipeline of excellence and succession by coaching colleagues.
Requirements:
- Experience of working with senior stakeholders in the reinsurance sector is essential.
- Experience of working with all aspects of post-placement activities.
- Ability to analyze data, seeking trends and translating this into valued insights for the business and our clients.
- Be able to articulate and demonstrate positive results for clients and the business.
