Deputy Manager Job Description


The successful candidate will be responsible for:



  • Assisting the Manager in the overall management of the care home, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards;
  • Supervising and supporting nursing staff in the delivery of care plans tailored to individual resident needs;
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective care strategies;
  • Conducting regular assessments of resident needs and adjusting care plans accordingly;
  • Fostering a positive environment for both residents and staff, promoting teamwork and effective communication;
  • Managing staff schedules, training, and performance evaluations to ensure high-quality service delivery;
  • Addressing any concerns or complaints from residents or their families promptly and professionally.


Requirements and Qualifications


To be successful in this role, you will require:



  • Minimum 2 years previous experience in an assisted living, nursing home, or care home environment;
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within a healthcare setting is preferred;
  • Strong understanding of care plans and medication administration processes.


Salary and Benefits


The estimated salary for this position is £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including:
