Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Key Account Manager to join our team at Danfoss. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our customer base in the North-West UK region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to increase overall sales of Residential, Commercial, and Cooling solutions.
  • Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders, including M+E consultants, BMS and M+E contractors, and HVAC merchants/wholesalers.
  • Specify products to M+E consultants and perform product selection and dimensioning for customers.
  • Deliver product and application trainings, including CPD, seminars, and training.
  • Work with other divisions of Danfoss, sharing knowledge and sales leads.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in delivering solutions and working with customers and other stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate.
  • Strong commercial acumen and good understanding of mechanical heating and cooling systems.
  • Experience of selling solutions into Developers, Main contractors, Local authority, and Housing Associations.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate to different audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work and build relationships with a wide range of people and organisations.
  • Good organisation skills, with the ability to track priorities, work to deadlines, and manage projects.
  • An existing knowledge of account and/or key account management.
  • A flexible attitude towards change and adaptability in working processes.
  • A proven ability to show passion, desire, and tenacity within the role.
  • An existing knowledge of CRM systems.
