We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our Registration Service team as a Registration Officer - Ceremonies Specialist. This is a permanent, part-time position with 520 annualised hours per year, plus enhancements for weekends and bank holidays.
Key Responsibilities- Register or conduct statutory and non-statutory ceremonies at registration offices, religious buildings, and other approved premises within the local authority.
- Undertake duties attached to the registration of marriages and civil partnerships.
The Registration Service creates accurate and timely records of all births, stillbirths, deaths, marriages, and civil partnerships, and makes provision for couples to give notice of their intention to marry or to form a civil partnership.
