Job Title: Learning and Development Coach in Yorkshire

Job Description:

The role of a Learning and Development Coach in Yorkshire at Hays Travel involves supporting apprentices from the start of their journey with the company. This entails delivering exceptional customer service while assessing, coaching, and developing apprentices during their progress reviews. The successful candidate will be responsible for the training delivery and assessment for a cohort of Retail apprentices working through their Travel Consultant Apprenticeship.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assess and coach apprentices during individual progress reviews, selecting quality evidence to showcase and stretch their capabilities.
  • Deliver inspiring and motivational training sessions that engage learners and achieve the desired impact.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of current training sessions and suggest improvements.
  • Research and write engaging training content for both virtual and classroom delivery.
  • Ensure a strong awareness of Safeguarding, Prevent, and British values.
  • Effectively communicate and positively promote organisational changes.
  • Possess a high level of competency with department and company technology.
  • Be able to self-reflect and identify areas for personal development.
  • Display a motivated 'can do' attitude, striving for excellence in all areas of the role.
  • Provide exceptional customer service at all times.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Previous experience working in a Customer Service environment.
  • Previous experience in a Retail Travel sales environment.
  • Previous experience of classroom/remote delivery.
  • Previous delivery experience of Core Skills.

Desirable but Not Essential:

  • Level 3 + qualification in Education and Training.
  • Level 3 assessment award.
  • Level 4 Quality Assurance.
