About the Position
The WPI Robotics Engineering Department invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position. We seek individuals with a Ph.D. in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field. Candidates with expertise in robot learning and AI, perception, soft robotics, manipulation, and human-robot interaction are particularly encouraged to apply.
Research and Teaching Opportunities
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to complement, expand, and synergize with our existing research foci in perception-based motion planning and control, manipulation, human-robot interaction, multi-robot systems, soft robots, medical and assistive robotics, and human augmentation. We are looking for individuals who value innovation, creativity, diversity, inclusion, and collaboration.
