Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Aerospace Technical Author to join our team at Certain Advantage. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for creating, editing, and updating technical proposal/bid documentation for energy security and energy transition engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the creation, editing, and updating of technical proposal/bid documentation for energy security and energy transition engineering projects.
  • Collaborate with engineers, sales and business development leads, commercial staff, and other stakeholders to ensure complex technical information is communicated clearly and effectively within proposal/bid written submissions to clients.
  • Work closely with project delivery SMEs, engineering discipline leads, and cost estimators to gather information and understand the technical aspects of technological solutions, products, systems, and engineering project team structures.
  • Review and edit content for accuracy, clarity, brevity, and consistency.
  • Create diagrams, charts, and other visual aids to complement written content.
  • Implement document revision control measures and ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
  • Familiarity with content management systems and document control processes.

Requirements:

  • Strong technical writing skills with experience in creating technical proposal/bid documentation.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to understand complex technical information and communicate it effectively.
  • Experience with content management systems and document control processes.
