Job Summary

As a key member of the NRL team, the Proposal Technical Writer will collaborate with senior engineering project execution SMEs to create, edit, and update technical proposal/bid documentation for energy security and energy transition engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaboration: Work closely with project delivery SMEs, engineering discipline leads, and cost estimators to gather information and understand the technical aspects of technological solutions, products, systems, and engineering project team structures.
  • Editing and Proofreading: Review and edit content for accuracy, clarity, brevity, and consistency.
  • Visual Aids: Create diagrams, charts, and other visual aids to complement written content.
  • Content Management: Maintain and update a library of standard proposal/bid technical documentation, ensuring all materials are current and accessible to support future referencing.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement document revision control measures and ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
  • Familiarity with Content Management Systems: Utilize content management systems and document control processes to streamline proposal/bid documentation.
