Job Description:

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Aerospace Technical Author to join our team on a 6-month contract basis. As a hybrid role, you will work closely with our clients in the engineering, procurement, and construction industries, offering solutions and services across diverse sectors such as energy, government, and technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support the creation, editing, and updating of technical proposal/bid documentation for energy security and energy transition engineering projects.
  2. Collaborate with engineers, sales and business development leads, commercial staff, and other stakeholders to ensure complex technical information is communicated clearly and effectively within proposal/bid submissions to clients.
  3. Work closely with project delivery SMEs, engineering discipline leads, and cost estimators to gather information and understand the technical aspects of technological solutions, products, systems, and engineering project team structures.
  4. Review and edit content for accuracy, clarity, brevity, and consistency.
  5. Create diagrams, charts, and other visual aids to complement written content.
  6. Implement document revision control measures and ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
  7. Familiarity with content management systems and document control processes.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent technical writing skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively. You will also need to be familiar with content management systems and document control processes.
